can actually sit down with a

Cancun Moon
Once upon my spring vacation
At a warm and sunny tropical location
To the southern part of Mexico
If you’ve never been there
You’ve got to go

It was there where I met Angelina
A dark eyed beauty dancing in a small cantina
On a hot and humid summer night in June
Oh that crazy night in June
Under a Cancun Moon

The Mariachi band began to play a song
And soon after we were dancing along
Oh the way she looked at me
Had no clue what was in store for me

Over margaritas  we both laughed and talked
Then she grabbed my hand and said let’s go for a walk
That’s the moment I fell victim to
I could not refuse
The magic of that Cancun Moon

Under a Cancun I fell in love again
We walked along the beaches as the tide was rolling in
I can still feel the sand between my toes
The way she held me close
And the steam that lingered deep in that lagoon
The Cancun Moon saw our first and last kiss
I never liked Tequila til I tasted her sweet lips
We both knew when we heard the dolphins cry
We were running out of time
And pretty soon we would have to
Say goodbye to that Cancun Moon
